During a public meeting with Giga Glunchadze, the Majoritarian MP candidate for State for the People, someone attempted to verbally disrupt the gathering.
According to a report on Rustavi 2, the same person attempted to disrupt a meeting in the villages of Ubisa and Boriti in the Kharagauli-Baghdadi municipality.
Rustavi 2 reported that Glunchadze called the police on numerous occasions, and they arrived an hour later after the meeting had finished.
One of the leaders of the movement has asked the Ministry of Internal Affairs to respond:
“It’s not normal that a candidate is followed to meetings by people with a criminal background who are trying to intimidate the population and prevent them from going to meetings and talking with candidates”, said Giorgi Vashadze.
