Traffic on several roads has been restricted in Georgia on January 2. The reason was heavy snowfall. Due to the danger of avalanches, roads on the Gudauri-Kobi road have been closed.
The Roads Department of Georgia has reported that there has been an intensive snow, strong wind and limited visibility and for that reason Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka roads have been closed.
The same goes for Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda road which leads to the border of Armenia.
Another road of international importance has been closed down, Akhalkalaki-Kartsakhi road which goes to the border with Turkey. All kinds of traffic along these roads has been restriced.
