Government of Georgia Owned 4,592 Vehicles and Spent 53M GEL on Fuel in 2016

According to the State Audit Office report, the Government of Georgia owned 4 592 cars and used more than 53 million GEL for fuel in 2016.

1,488 of the vehicles are SUVs. The statistics do not include vehicles for special utilisation (trucks, tractors, etc.). Moreover, cars owned by local self-government bodies, not including Tbilisi City Hall, Ministry of Defense, State LEPLs and Non-Entrepreneurial Legal Entities are not included in the list. Therefore, the number of vehicles used by the Government of Georgia is even larger.

  • Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure - 154 vehicles
  • Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development - 117 vehicles
  • Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection - 102 vehicles
  • Parliament of Georgia - 98 vehicles
  • Government Administration - 48 vehicles
  • Ministry of Finance - 39 vehicles
  • The Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia - 36 vehicles
  • Ministry of Justice - 34 vehicles
