8 out of 10 Georgian Exported Goods Rose in 2017

Georgia’s export amounted to 2.7 billion USD in 2017, which is 29% higher compared to 2016, the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) said in a report. 8 out of 10 exported goods have seen a rise in the last year. Copper ores top the list of the most exported goods in 2017, with 15% share in overall export.

Even though exports rose in 2017, the overall indicator is still lower compared to the years 2013 and 2014. Georgian exports hit a record high in 2013 with 2.9 billion USD in exports.
