Georgia and Moldova have European Union's support to carry out the reforms needed for EU integration, EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy, Stefan Fule said at a conference with Georgian and Moldovan journalists on 26 November.

"If Georgia remains committed to the values that are important for the EU, establishes the rule of law, does not allow selective justice and has free media, then it will be closer to the EU," he said "the more Georgia gets closer to the EU, the better we can protect it," the EU Commissioner added.

The Eastern Partnership Summit is scheduled for 28-29 November in Vilnius. Georgia and Moldova will initialize the Association Agreement document at the Summit. The treaty is to be signed in 2014.
