The official website of the parliament of Georgia has not been operating for two days now. It was disabled in a hacker attack on 11 January and the relevant service is working on its reconstruction.
Merab Gotsiridze, the Head of Parliament's IT Department, said the website was completely destroyed and it will take some time to reconstruct it. According to Gotsiridze, the parliament will have a brand new site within 10 days.
This is the second hacker attack against the Georgian parliament's website in the last two weeks. The website was first hacked on 31 December 2013, but the problem was rapidly fixed then.
