Georgian Dream wins all electoral districts – 100% of ballots counted

According to preliminary results of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Georgian Dream candidates won in all those eight cities and 13 municipalities where a runoff election was held. As the CEC announced, 100% of ballots have been counted.

The following ruling party candidates were elected as mayors: Davit Narmania in Tbilisi (72.47%), Platon Kalmakhelidze in Telavi (70.61%), Davit Jikia in Rustavi (64.77%), Avtandil Nemsitsveridze in Mtskheta (62.99%), Zurab Jirkvelishvili in Gori (62.23%), Beglar Sioridze in Ozurgeti (58.9%), Irakli Kakulia in Poti (72.38%) and Giorgi Ermakov in Batumi (77.29%).

Also according to preliminary results, Georgian Dream candidates were elected as executives of 13 municipalities: Ilia Mzekalashvili in Kvareli (79.95%), Aleksandre Shatirishvili in Telavi (70.93%), Beka Baidauri in Akhmeta (59.19%), Lela kitesashvili in Tianeti (64.5%), Davit Oniashvili in Gori (66.95%), Teimuraz Japaridze in Terjola (61,44%), Irakli Gegeshidze in Bagdati (56.44%), Jemal Mebuke in Khoni (58.23%), Robinson Gvenetadze in Tkibuli (68.81%), Zaza Urushadze in Lanchkhuti (56.12%), Aleksandre Grigalava in Martvili (88.64%), Sulkhan Evgenidze in Kobuleti (76.3%) and Besik Buashidze in Khulo (59.42%).
