Margvelashvili: I Watch Russian Media to Understand Messages of Russian Propaganda

I watch Russian media quite often, it might be unpleasant, but it is the homework that I have to fulfil in order to know … how Russian propaganda works and what is the main vector with which they develop [their] activities. I definitely don’t agree with the position that Russian language should be forgotten in Georgia. This is like a lingua franca for our region, with which we communicate with Abkhazians, Ossetians, Azerbaijanians and Armenians... in regards to sharing information, Russian language is very comfortable and we definitely shouldn’t undermine this information weapon, which we have in our hands.

President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili on Russian propaganda.
