PM Sends Condolences to UK: “As a United Force We Will Achieve Peace”

“I am deeply saddened by the terrorist attack in Manchester, England that claimed the lives of at least 19 people, and left many injured.

On behalf of the government and people of Georgia, I offer my sincere sympathies to the Government of Great Britain and the English people. We wholeheartedly share your sorrow in this challenging time.

I believe that the civilized world will launch even more vigorous efforts against terrorism, and as a united force, we will achieve peace across the world.”

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili spoke on May 23rd about the terrorist suicide bomb at a concert in Manchester, UK the night before. 22 people, including children, were killed, and 59 were injured.
