Bank of Georgia announced that it plans to launch a project called “Female Startupper.” The project is the result of cooperation between the Bank of Georgia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). In the framework of the program, the Bank of Georgia will fund female entrepreneurs in Georgia. The initiative is one of the first of its kind in Georgia, which will enable female entrepreneurs to implement their business ideas.
The Bank of Georgia will also be offering a training on the subject of entrepreneurship for women with ideas for startup businesses. Participants of the program will also be able to use operation products of the Bank of Georgia free of charge.
