Iranian air company TABAN Airlines is planning to increase the frequency of flights to Georgia for the summer season, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia reports. TABAN Airlines entered the Georgian air market in 2016. The Civic Aviation Agency, which works under the Ministry of Economy, allowed for the Iranian air company to operate the flights on May 3rd.
The Tehran-Tbilisi-Tehran flight will operate six times a week from May 7th to September 22nd. The flights will operate everyday except for Saturdays, by Airbus A310, Boeing B737 and 757 shuttles.
